    My drug of choice

One of my favorit relaxations is reading. It’s kind of my drug of choice. I read every night before I go to sleep, I used to carry around a book where ever I traveled, but now a days a download books on my phone instead of having the extra luggage. I mostly read differnt kinds of fantasy inspired books, such as David Eddings, James Barclay, Brent Weeks and of course Diana Gabaldon. The last one, Gabaldon, is the author of my all time favorite Outlander that made me book my first trip to Scotland. What kinds of books du you prefer, actual books or reading on your phone? And nosy…

    What’s you favorite?

Oh okey, I know, guilty. I should probably change status or alignment on this blog. I’ve been spamming about the sunsets and sunrises that we experienced during our trip to the portuguese island of Madeira. But in my defense, they were gorgeous. To the point that I’ve never seen anything like it. Yellow, purple, red, you name the colour, I’ve seen it. Don’t say green. Anyways, what do you prefer, sunset or sunrise?

    The colours of Madeira

These images really dont need much text, do they? When I browse through the images that we took during our christmas trip to the lovely portuguese island Madeira, I cant help but to long for an exotic trip to a foreign country. I long for summer, warmth, an ocean view and even mosquitoes. If you could go anywhere right now, where would you go?

    Mornings

I know I’ve said it time and again, but there’s just something about waking up at a hotell and starting the day with watching the sunrise. Our hotel during our stay in Funchal in Madeira had the most amazing view, overlooking the ocean. So every morning I had my coffee in bed, whilst watching the sun rise. Amazing right?

    Relaxing in the sun

The weather was not all great during our christmas trip to Funchal Madeira, but even though it wasent warm enough to wear a bikini all day you still got to enjoy the sun. The evenings got a bit cold, like jeans and a sweater cold, so kind of like swedish summers but we did have a lot of bikini moments during the earlier parts of the day where we could just hang around the pool. I had a variety of different clothings packed, everything from bikinis and shorts to smaller jackets and longer dresses. And I used everything. I would say that Madeira during christmas makes it hard to pack…

    The harbour area in Funchal

I really loved walking around in the area of the harbour in Funchal, Madeira. It had everything. Beautiful parks with greeneries. Resturants and pubs. A small amusement park with a few rides. And watching the big cruiseships dock for the night, while sipping a drink in the sun, that’s really not a bad way to end off a great day.
