Best places to eat in Trosa

It’s always a bit of a struggle when you’re traveling, to find the best places for an entire group of people right. So I am going to list all of the places we had time to visit whilst we visited Trosa in Sweden and tell you a bit about them, so with springtime fast approaching I hope this will give you an idea of where to set your sights. I am not going to give the restaurants and the experience we had on each restaurant their own posts, so instead, I am gonna cram them together in one bigger post. I hope that’s okay with you, and maybe it’s even…

4 tips for great cocktails in Stockholm

Bodarna by Melanders Margaritas @ Exit Milkshake @ BC Burger Caipirinha @ Liberdade Dont forget to join us on Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest for daily updates and more images. I know that you’re not supposed to go out for a drink right now in Stockholm due to the pandemic, and I am not encouraging that at all, that’s not the point of this post. All restaurants and pubs are closing by eight o clock and I can only imagine how hard that must be on the economy. I just want to give a bit of a shoutout to a few of my favorite places in Stockholm when it comes to…

    Dinner @ Nåttarö Krog

It was a magical night … outdoor seatings with a view overlooking the ocean as the is going down. It’s that kind of place that you see in the movies, you know the one where they show the perfect first date. That movie could have been shot at Nåttarö Krog. Their menu changes with the seasons, during the summer there are more choices, but as they only have open during the weekends in the autumn the menu is a bit smaller. They close for a few months and then open back up for Christmas. The menu does not much though, and I can still see some of my favorite dishes…

    Tapas @ Exit

During one of our daytrips to Stockholm in Sweden, we were searching for a good tapas bar, and we found Exit lounge and bar located in the southern parts of the city. It’s super easy to get there from the center of the city, I am guessing it will take you about 7 minutes to walk there from the subway station Stockholm Södra. The address is Götgatan 53, just type it into GoogleMaps, and you’ll see how easy it is to get there. They don’t only serve tapas at Exit lounge and bar, but that’s what we were in the mood for so that’s what we got. And c’mon, after…

    Summery cocktails

Well, it ain’t summer of you’re not making some cocktails right? Okay, the cocktails may not define the seasons, but there is a difference in what kind of drinks and cocktails I make throughout the year. I mean, not really in the mood for mulled wine in during the summers, and not really craving that ice-cold Bellini during the cold winter nighs, right? At least that’s the way I feel. During the summers I tend to make fresh, light, and fruity cocktails and a lot of different sangrias, so I thought I would share some of them with you and hopefully get you inspired. 1. Apple sour with a twist…

4 tips for great cocktails in Trosa

Oh yes, this was the guide you have all been waiting for huh? Mhm, we may have had some cocktails, drinks, and wine on our trip, so I thought I would share some of my experiences with you. On where to go for live music and shots, the coziest place and the best Spritz. I am not going to add the address of the restaurants and bars, your all going to use GoogleMaps anyways so the names will do just fine, right? Fina fisken This was on the more fancy side with a somewhat younger crowd, but even though it’s not regularly my first choice of place, I loved sitting…

    Iphone, Android or SLR?

You all know I love photography right? I have been photographing everything from my toys as a kid, to models in cool destinations abroad, I do a bit of landscape photography within my work and now lately I have found a fascination for taking beautiful images of food and drinks. It’s not just a quick photo for an Instagram story, I really enjoy taking my time to set up the image. Finding the right light, the props and backdrop have to be perfect. I am trying to use everything I have learned through my years doing fashion photography to get the colors and composition right but to be honest I…

    Aifur in old town Stockholm

So last week we visited this really cool restaurant in stockholm called Aifur, its kind of a feast hall in old part of town decorated in vikingstyle, with a separate bar area. I am gonna send out a warning right at the beginning of this post… there are a LOT om images, because this place is amazingly beautiful! The images above are showing the entrance and the supercool headwaiter, who is so much more than a waiter. He’s an entertainer of the highest quality. First off we stepped into bararea as we were a bit early for our reservation. Lucky for us right? I mean, check out the images of…

    Jureskogs burgers

Sometimes I’m drawn to healthy foods and I do have a tendency to plan for exercise, but the chooseatarian in me is often to strong to overcome. That means I’m mostly pleased if theres a little lettuce on my pizza, or happy about the lemon with my tequila. I choose meat, junkfood and a great drink to follow. So when my brother suggested, formerly known as Big S if you are one of those who read my old blog, that we take a look at Jureskogs Restaurant in the center of Stockholm, I quickly agreed. So our plan was that we celebrate Big S’s birthday with burgers and a few…
