La Bouqueria in Barcelona

I just love strolling in La Bouqueria in Barcelona, it’s one of my favorite places in the city. It is located in the city center of La Rambla, superhard to miss, even if you try your best. The market sells food and fresh produce of the highest quality, and you are most welcome to a sample.

Mercat de Sant Josep de la Boqueria as as it’s actually called is one of Europe’s largest and most famous food markets. Foods are priced similarly to a quality restaurant, and one might think that’s a bit much, but the freshness of the produce is well worth it. I do recommend that you visit the market in the morning to see the full action, enjoy the scenery and maybe a freshly squeezed fruit juices or a refreshing treat in the middle of the mayhem.
