Cruise on Danou River

Going on a cruise on Danou river made our first day in Budapest really great. It was an exellent way of getting a view of the entire city, giving you a two hour trip to plan what kind of sightseeing you would like to do.

Our trip cost about 20€, and that inclued a welcomedrink and two drinks of choise. But there were several different cruises you choose from, dinnercruises, Budapest by night, brunchboats, you name it. There are even boats with live music and dancing if you packed your sealegs.

You get to see a lot great architechture like the Hungarian Parlament building, Buda castle, Matthias Church, The Elisabeth bridge, Ruda bath, entertainment and shopping center called the Whale and ofcourse the Gellert Hill.
