The temple of Apollo

The temple attracts crowds for sure, especially during sunset when it looks its best. But did I take one of those amazing images of the temple during the sunset? No. Do I regret it? Yes.

This amazing piece of architecture was dedicated to Apollo, the Greek god of beauty and its located at the far end of the peninsula in a picturesque location looking out over the Mediterranean where some great sea turtles live. Yes, I had the pleasure of seeing some of the turtles, just at a distance though, but maybe that’s a good thing, they are really big.
