Süleymaniye Mosque
It is the second largest mosque in the city, so its a well known tourist site for sure and after beeing there, I can totally understand why. This was my favorite building to visit in Istanbul, it was calm and quiet. Big enough to hide all the wandering tourists.
And yes, I know, its a lot of images and I do promise, there will be more because this is one mosque that we revisited during our stay in Istanbul, both day and night, without me realising we’d just entered the same huge magical place from a different angle. But I will show you more in a different post, so I will not drown you in images.
