Valens Aqueduct in Istanbul
This is one of all the beautiful places we passed every day duting our trip to Istanbul, Valens Aqueduct. Its huge, 29 meter high, but thats not really strange seeing as it was the major water-providing system back in the old days when capital was called Constantinopel. Beautiful right?
I know I have not shown you a lot of images from our trip to Istanbul, but stey tuned, I promise you – they are comming!

I’ve been to Istanbul many times but I’ve never visited this aquaduct. It looks really impressive to drive past but is there any places to eat or drink near by that make it work exploring on foot?
Anngelic
Oh yes, there is a big park just next to Valens, we walked there a few times. And its close to the center of the city, where there’s lost of restaurants and stores 😊
Next time you’re in Istanbul, you should look it up
