    Summery cocktails

Well, it ain’t summer of you’re not making some cocktails right? Okay, the cocktails may not define the seasons, but there is a difference in what kind of drinks and cocktails I make throughout the year. I mean, not really in the mood for mulled wine in during the summers, and not really craving that ice-cold Bellini during the cold winter nighs, right? At least that’s the way I feel. During the summers I tend to make fresh, light, and fruity cocktails and a lot of different sangrias, so I thought I would share some of them with you and hopefully get you inspired. 1. Apple sour with a twist…

    Ågården

As we were planning our trip to Trosa in Sweden, we came across this cute place called Ågården. It’s a historic building with a courtyard center, with a bar, outdoor dining area, spa-bath, and a fully furnished greenhouse where you can have your outdoor meals indoors. And the best part, its located right by the canal. All the rooms are entered directly from the courtyard, so as you wake up in the morning, you’ll have the most amazing view. The double room that I and the husband stayed in had a small bedroom with a queen-sized bed, a bathroom with shower, and a small loungearea with wicker chairs. And a…

On where to go for live music and shots, the coziest place and the best Spritz. I am not going to add the address of the restaurants and bars, your all going to use GoogleMaps anyways so the names will do just fine, right? Fina fisken This was on the more fancy side with a somewhat younger crowd, but even though it’s not regularly my first choice of place, I loved sitting…

    Iphone, Android or SLR?

You all know I love photography right? I have been photographing everything from my toys as a kid, to models in cool destinations abroad, I do a bit of landscape photography within my work and now lately I have found a fascination for taking beautiful images of food and drinks. It’s not just a quick photo for an Instagram story, I really enjoy taking my time to set up the image. Finding the right light, the props and backdrop have to be perfect. I am trying to use everything I have learned through my years doing fashion photography to get the colors and composition right but to be honest I…

    Wine o clock @Tullhuset

You can’t really go to a seaport without having some seafood, can you? We found this cute little cafe, right at the center of town overlooking the boardwalk and the canals, called Tullhuset. They serve everything from pizza and burgers, to cocktails and icecream. For our little group of adventurers it was the perfect place to have a quick lunch, well… that quick stop turned out to be a few hours, we really enjoyed ourselves. White wine and smoked shrimps, with bread and aioli, served on a hot summer day, shared with friends and loved once. Does life get any better than this? The prices were affordable, the people were…

    Roadtrip to Trosa

Oh yes, we went on a small roadtrip to Trosa for the weekend, I was so looking forward to going on a mini-trip. Not that its fun to pack your bags when you’re going somewhere, but this time its kind of okay, just cuz its been such a long time. But then again, we all know that good feeling goes away as soon as your back home, and that bag of yours starts craving to be unpacked. To be completely honest, before I could start packing, I had to do some unpacking from our last trip (new years in Athens). I had a vision of updating you guys during our…

    Relaxing by the pool

Yeah, so this picture was last years relaxing by the pool, in Nessebar Bulgaria, it all seems kind of amazing doesn’t it? What I would not do to be right there, right now. But that’s not happening… We have just canceled our last booked trip abroad for this summer. We had plans to visit Cyprus for a week and just have that relaxing trip, you know, All-inclusive by the pool where you just let the stress fade into vacation vibes. That was our plan for our first week of the summer vacation, so now what? It takes a while, just to let it soak in that we’re not going abroad…

    Langos from Hungary

This time of year or hometown usually has its main even, a market, or a fair. But like everything else right now, it was canceled due to Covid 19. The one thing we always pick up at the pair is the Hungarian street food Langos. Its a fried bread, sometimes called Hungarian pizza. It kind of seems like I am saying this every week as I sum up our latest food adventure, but this was super easy to make. All you need is a large potato, freshly boiled and mashed, flour, salt, water, and yeast. You’re good to go for making the bread, so mix it all together and let…
