Cruise on Danou River
Going on a cruise on Danou river made our first day in Budapest really great. It was an exellent way of getting a view of the entire city, giving you a two hour trip to plan what kind of sightseeing you would like to do. Our trip cost about 20€, and that inclued a welcomedrink and two drinks of choise. But there were several different cruises you choose from, dinnercruises, Budapest by night, brunchboats, you name it. There are even boats with live music and dancing if you packed your sealegs. You get to see a lot great architechture like the Hungarian Parlament building, Buda castle, Matthias Church, The Elisabeth…

Drinks before the cruise on danou river
Yes, there’s going to be lots and lots more of images from Budapest. This is just to show of a winestop before the cruise on danou river. This was one of the more expensive places we ended up on, I do belive the bottle of wine cost us about 20€. Have I told you that we only visted the Pest side of Budapest whilest we were in Budapest for a long weekend, there was simply not enough time. The only time we saw anything of Buda was from the cruiseship.

To much to see in Budapest
In the short time that we spent in Budapest, there was not enough time to see everything in Budapest, there’s just to much to see. When you start walking, in any direction, you are bound to find something interesting. Whether its a historic building, a monument, a ruin bar, a thermal bath. We usually do a long weekend, like wednesday to saturday, and that mostly enough. But not even close to enought when comes to Budapest. What a city! There’s gonna be a lot of posts about Budapest, and let me pre-apologize, cuz theres gonna be alot of praizing, complimenting and gushing about my my new found love for the…

Wizzair
The only thing that was not great about this trip to Budapest, Hungary was the fact that we flew by Wizzair. It was not bad, it was just not great. The airline deliberately places you in different seats all over the airplane when you check in online, just to make you pay for changing seats and it will cost you about 20€. If you forget to check in online, or just dont know that you have to – they will charge you 45€ to check you in at the counter.I’m guessing thats how this discount airline makes its money, and I know they have to earn it somehow. But I…
