Bucketlist for 2019
Okey, lets do one of thease bucketlists for 2019… is it cheating to put Madrid on the bucketlist, even though we already booked it? Madrid – Yes, I’m putting it in there. It’s a safe way to get one point. Rome – Ann has been there, done that, but she wouldnt mind doing it again. Angelica hasent been there so it would be a great city to visit together. New Orleans – that a bit of an overreach, but a bucketlist doesnt have to be all obtainable, does it? Malta – we’ve talked about going to Malta for years now, for the history and the sun ofcourse, so I say…

Advent wishlist, part 3
Nashville. Yes I know, the coutrymysic Hall of Fame in Tennesse. Who wouldnt want to visit the Grand Ole Opry and see a future legend. I actually do like the genre of music so I would most defenatly appreciate the journey. Orleans, as in New Orleans. I know thats kind of cheating, since it really start with an N, but since it’s my blog… The city of festivals, vibrant nightlife, creole architechture and jazzmusic. Sounds magical. New Orleans has been a dream of mine for quite some time now, I want to stroll down the Mississippi river, visit the Bourbon Street and admire the French Quaters. Palermo. Italy seems to…

St Peter’s Basilica
Did you know that it’s possible to climb up to the top of St Peter’s dome in the Vatican City? It’s quite a climb and I do not recomend it if you’re claustrofobic or afraid of hights. As always, if you intend to climb to the top, go in the morning, before most of the other tourists are awake. They open at 8. Or if you want a sunset with an amazing view, so just before closing time. I reccomend that you buy you ticket before hand online, just to avoid the ticketline. During high season the line will eat up half of your day. It’s possible to take an…

Il Vittoriano
Il Vittoriano in Piazza Venezia, Rome – you just you can’t ignore it. It’s an amazing building that are seen from several different places around the city, whereever you go, you are sure to see this. Not that I’m complaining, it’s a great view, especially when the sun sets. But then again, all building look great during the sunset. All this digging around in the images taken in Rome, makes me want to go back. But, have you ever been in Rome during the winter? How’s the weather, say in february? //Ann #nouwtravelblog #travelblogger#travelphotography #italy #rome

Castel Sant’Angelo in Rome
Have you ever been to Rome and visited Castel Sant’ Angelo? It is the cylindrical building that’s towering up behind me in the picture with the amazing bronze statue of Michael the Arch Angel on the top. You might recognize the bulding from the movie Angels and Demons by the author Dan Brown? That particular bulding was on my bucketlist whilst we were in Rome, I wanted to visit it so bad. And as it’s a museum today, with the cutest little cafe and whinery on the top of the bulding, with a view overlooking the entire city, its a perfect place to visit. We had a glas of wine,…

Fontana di trevi
Whom of you have ever been to Rome and visited the fontana di trevi? I’ll tell you this, we werent alone at the fountain. There was a sea of tourists craming to get through, just to get that one good image. As did I. But as all traveling bloggers say, go to the big toristattractions in the morning, when the light is great and the rest of the world is sleeping – that’s when you’ll get that great image. //Ann #nouwautumnchallenge #travelblogger #rome #italy
