What differs between a trattoria, osteria, ristorante and enoteca?
I can’t be the only one that got quite confused with the different ways that Italians name the foodie meetups. But lately we have been in Italy quite a few times, so let’s try and break them down in a way that we can all understand it a bit better … here we go! Trattoria: You can expect regional cuisine at a trattoria, quite inexpensive but with a larger menu than the Osteria. Review of 2022
The travel year of 2022 has been one of the best in a very long, loooong time. Not just because we weren’t dragged down by all of the strange things that have been happening around the world during the past couple of years, but there’s actually been quite a lot of traveling going on. The Mediterranean cuisine has always been a favorite of mine, especially the dishes from the Italian kitchen, such as pasta, pizza, and seafood. Brindisi – first impression
A lot of you have been asking about our trip to Brindisi, so I thought I would give you kind of a first impression… First of all, let me start by saying that we love Italy, so booking a trip to Brindisi was a simple choice for us, even though none of us had even heard of this city before this.
