We started the year 2023 with a weekend at our friend’s house on the outskirts of Borås, where we spent New Year’s with great food, wine, and laughter. Places for great food in Edinburgh
I haven’t given you guys any recommendations for restaurants in a while, so I thought I would give you some of our most recent ones from our trip to Edinburgh in late November 2023. The first few recommendations are from places where we have eaten either lunch or dinner, but the later two are from early morning breakfasts. For the most parts, we order our separate plates for breakfast, and sometimes for dinner as well, but most often we share a plate and try to taste several different dishes instead. Scott Monument
This is a hard one to miss when you visit Edinburgh, it in the middle of the city. Clear visibility from wherever you go. I think I have hundreds of images of this building, from all different angles. But let me tell you this, this is one beautiful monument and I completely understand the location of it but its not really photogenic. Bucketlist for 2020
Yes, we did a Bucketlist for 2019 aswell, so why not make it a tradition? Last year we cheated by putting Madrid on the list, even though we had already booked the trip. Inside of St Giles Cathedral
Its beautiful right? The cathedral is located on the Royal Mile, you simply cant miss it and you really shouldnt. If you visit Edinburgh in Scotland, just make sure that you see the cathedral, both inside and out, its really amazing. Review of 2019
Last year we did a Review of 2018 so lets keep this up and make a small review of this year as well. We started 2019 in Dublin Ireland with the best group of people ever, so we kicked off the new year in style.
