Tapas @ Exit
During one of our daytrips to Stockholm in Sweden, we were searching for a good tapas bar, and we found Exit lounge and bar located in the southern parts of the city. It’s super easy to get there from the center of the city, I am guessing it will take you about 7 minutes to walk there from the subway station Stockholm Södra. The address is Götgatan 53, just type it into GoogleMaps, and you’ll see how easy it is to get there. They don’t only serve tapas at Exit lounge and bar, but that’s what we were in the mood for so that’s what we got. And c’mon, after…

What are our plans for the summer?
As most people do right about now, we are starting to plan our summer. Don’t get me wrong, we had plans and we still have one more trip abroad left that has not been canceled yet, but we all know that will not be possible for us. So what are our plans for the summer? Food travel Hopefully, you have seen our Food Travel series that has taken us into quite a few different kitchens, which is super fun, so we will definitely continue that. We have some great ideas planned for the near future, so if you eat a few times a day and are in need of some…

Lets go traintrotting around the world
A small part of my family lives down in Småland, which is a part of the south of Sweden. My family uses to be less spread out, but at least all but one of us lives around Stockholm. So that is why we had a bit of a swecation for the Christmas holidays, which is always nice. Don’t you agree? But that was not what I wanted to talk about, I was actually thinking of the huge difference in comfort when it comes to airplanes vs trains.Last time we traveled by snälltåg, translated kind train, how cute is that? But this time we went with the faster train X2000. There is…

Aifur in old town Stockholm
So last week we visited this really cool restaurant in stockholm called Aifur, its kind of a feast hall in old part of town decorated in vikingstyle, with a separate bar area. I am gonna send out a warning right at the beginning of this post… there are a LOT om images, because this place is amazingly beautiful! The images above are showing the entrance and the supercool headwaiter, who is so much more than a waiter. He’s an entertainer of the highest quality. First off we stepped into bararea as we were a bit early for our reservation. Lucky for us right? I mean, check out the images of…

Staycation before Vacation
Yes, I need a staycation before we head off to vacation! Well, its not the matter of needing as off… well, needing. Our plane leaves really early in the morning when we’re heading to Athens in Greece, so theres not way for us to get with public transportation to the Arlanda airport in Stockholm Sweden from where we live. The hassel of beeing a small town girl. Or the purks, if you keep reading… So yeah, we kind off had to book a short staycation, one night at a hotell closer to the airport. No, we didnt have to, we could have taken the car, but no. So we had…

Christmasgifts for travellers
Oh yes, gifts is always a hassel to find and I am guessing its even harder for people to find gifts for travellers, if you dont buy a trip. But seeing as trips are quite expensive, what can you buy for a traveller thats a bit less pricey? I have put together a list of things, in a variety of priceranges, that I guess most travellers would appriciate. Naturally you can google these itemns and find several different types, in different quality and price. And I know there’s a redonkulous amount of travelthingies out there, but maybe this can narrow it down abit. So here we go: Anti skimming card…

Windowshopping
Yeah yeah we have all done it, strolled around the most expensive parts of town, looking into the windows of the haute couture boutiques. Dreaming and wishing we could afford that exquisite itemn that comes in the most luxurious packaging. As I have stated before, me and Angelica arent working as travelbloggers, we’re just doing this for the fun of it. Or for the love of travelling to far away places, all the time. Anyways, what might seem like an expensive trip to one person might not seem that way to another, I am aware of that fact. My McDreamy of travels are most certainly places that a few of…

Has the summer come to an end?
Well, the question is, as the topic says – has the summer come to an end? I hate the thought of it, but it seems like we dont really have a choice in the matter, or even a vote. The summer is ending. The season is turning, its getting colder and the autumn wether is showing off its power. When I was kid, I always though that the summer ended when school started, but nowadays Im gunning for a longer summer. Its almost mid september and Im only beggínning to cave. So whats next? Hibernation? No, not really. I still belive there are some good days left until the summer…

Picnic @ Ringvägen
When you live in a small town like we do, you tend to forget how beautiful local scenery can be, so once in while you kind of need a reminder. Nynäshamn is a classic summercity, as soon as the summer strikes the city is in full bloom, vibrant and full of people. There is live music in the harbor area almost every night, even on the weekdays and tourists everywhere. That’s when us locals try to find a quiet space, with fewer people. Funny right? You complain all winter that the city is booring, cold and empty. But during the summers, we complain about the tourists, and try to hide…

Jureskogs burgers
Sometimes I’m drawn to healthy foods and I do have a tendency to plan for exercise, but the chooseatarian in me is often to strong to overcome. That means I’m mostly pleased if theres a little lettuce on my pizza, or happy about the lemon with my tequila. I choose meat, junkfood and a great drink to follow. So when my brother suggested, formerly known as Big S if you are one of those who read my old blog, that we take a look at Jureskogs Restaurant in the center of Stockholm, I quickly agreed. So our plan was that we celebrate Big S’s birthday with burgers and a few…
