Bulgaria - Nessebar

Church of Saint Sophia

We are always out walking in the morning, me and my husband Jacob. Well not always, but usually. I just love walking around in the mornings, hitting the most attractive tourist sites before everyone else wakes up.

We had all the time in the world to walk around and explore the ruins of the church of St Sophia, taking our pictures and enjoying the feel of the old architechture of this magical buliding from the 5th century. Just as we were finished and sat down for a cup of morningcoffee the busses with tourists arrived, but they didnt stay long. Im guessing their guided tour had them scheduled for another site within just a short period of time. Our luck. We could just sit there, listening to the morning sounds as the old town of Nessebar awoke.

Quite a mesmerizing building right?
