Tattoos and tequila
We did not tell you about the time that we got tattooed in Madrid, did we? We had talked about getting a tattoo together before, but when we were in Madrid, Spain, we finally got to it. So it was not a spur of the moment desition per say, but it was kind of a split second desition that night. It was like should we do it? Really? okay, lets! To be honest, none of our tattoos turned out that great… Angelicas is the worst, the tattoo had lost most of its color and looks like a spotted military plane. Lee, Angelica’s fiance, his plane is crooked but it has…

12 Bucket list foods
So okay, we have all some kind of bucket list. We make one every year for our different travel destinations, makes sense to us since we’re a travel blog. But this bucket list I thought we could do things a little different… One thing that I guess most people enjoy whilst traveling is the food culture, so with that in mind, I wanted to see if we could make a bucket list with different kinds of foods from all over the world, with all kinds of different dishes that we want to try out. Some of them we have already tried, some are in the near future and some of…

Scott Monument
This is a hard one to miss when you visit Edinburgh, it in the middle of the city. Clear visibility from wherever you go. I think I have hundreds of images of this building, from all different angles. But let me tell you this, this is one beautiful monument and I completely understand the location of it but its not really photogenic. I have been there early morning, late night, in the middle of the day, with and without the sun. Nope, my friends, the monument is not really that photogenic. It’s hard to get a good picture of it, and I know it, I have been trying my best.…

Lets go traintrotting around the world
A small part of my family lives down in Småland, which is a part of the south of Sweden. My family uses to be less spread out, but at least all but one of us lives around Stockholm. So that is why we had a bit of a swecation for the Christmas holidays, which is always nice. Don’t you agree? But that was not what I wanted to talk about, I was actually thinking of the huge difference in comfort when it comes to airplanes vs trains.Last time we traveled by snälltåg, translated kind train, how cute is that? But this time we went with the faster train X2000. There is…

Bucketlist for 2020
Yes, we did a Bucketlist for 2019 aswell, so why not make it a tradition? Last year we cheated by putting Madrid on the list, even though we had already booked the trip. But then again, I think we kind of jinxed last year’s list, cuz we only made it to two of our bucket list destinations. We made it to Madrid and Edinburgh in Scotland. We didn’t even make it to Copenhagen, and that’s like a train ride away… So first off is two of last year’s bucket list destinations, that we’re gonna leave on the list for this year as well. Maybe even a third… yes, a third,…

Walk with me – Athens Greece
Yeah, this walk with me has become a thing, but I just love showing you some images of how the streets that we walked through and buildings that we passed by looked. Maybe it will inspire you to talk a walk, anywhere in the world, trying to find that little piece of hidden magic. The variety of colours on the buildings but yet in a certain combination, the different set of stones on the streets, the old buildings with the street art and the greenery. Do you see there are actual lemons on that tree? They grew everywhere in the city, both lemons, and oranges. And flowers of course. It’s…

Odeon of Herodes Atticus
Did you know that the greek Herodes Atticus built this in memory of his wife back in 161 AD?Its hard trying to imagine beeing on a venue like this for a music consert, in Athens Greece, but the best part of this place is that its actually used. There has been a lot bigshots preforming on this arena, including stars like Sting, Diana Ross, Frank Sinatra, Andrea Bocelli, Foo Fighters and Liza Minelli. So once again, try imagining being on a consert on an area like this… if you could choose the artist, who would be preforming? //Ann

Oh yes, our third trip for 2020 is finally booked!
Woop woop! Oh yes, we have booked our third trip for 2020, and this time its our annual summer in the sun vacation. Its kind of a traditional for us, just to head somewhere where the sun it hot and sticky. A lazy-trip, preferably with a pool and the ocean in close proximity. So yeah, thats what we have booked, an entire week in Ayia Napa on the island of Cyprus. A new decade has just begun, and at the end of the first month of 2020 we have already booked our three first trips of this year. Thats something huh? Ann was on Cyprus when she was a…

Aifur in old town Stockholm
So last week we visited this really cool restaurant in stockholm called Aifur, its kind of a feast hall in old part of town decorated in vikingstyle, with a separate bar area. I am gonna send out a warning right at the beginning of this post… there are a LOT om images, because this place is amazingly beautiful! The images above are showing the entrance and the supercool headwaiter, who is so much more than a waiter. He’s an entertainer of the highest quality. First off we stepped into bararea as we were a bit early for our reservation. Lucky for us right? I mean, check out the images of…
