    Inside of St Giles Cathedral

Its beautiful right? The cathedral is located on the Royal Mile, you simply cant miss it and you really shouldnt. If you visit Edinburgh in Scotland, just make sure that you see the cathedral, both inside and out, its really amazing. Maybe I shouldnt put that on you, I only entered the cathedral on my second second visit to Edinburgh… If you want to phograph inside the cathedral, make sure that go get a photopermit. Just stop at the enrance and you will see the sign for the permits. As a photonerd, it was all worth it for me.But what about you, would you pay a fee to be able…

    Capitals

We found this really cool post at our fellow travelblogger Litemerarosa and looking around we found out that Stadtillstrand had filled in the list as well, so hey, lets do it! This post is about how many capitals you have visited whilst travelling around the world. And to be honest, we did not think that we had visited that many, but after reading our fellow bloggers posts we found ourselfs thinking “Hey, we’ve been there to!” This maybe a bit unfair, cuz this is our combined list of capitols, but then again, theres two of us writing on this blog and we both wanted to do the list. So lets…

    Home and Poetry

Time really does fly when you’re having a good time and we could not have been at a better place at the start of this decade, as we spent our New Years weekend in Athens Greece staying at this amazing little hotel located at the heart of of the city. We could not have picked a better hotel than Home and Poetry! As you could see our room was not the biggest, but surely not the smallest either. There were plenty of room for us to move around and store our luggage. As there were three of us, they brought in an extra bed. Comming home from a walk on our…

    Review of 2019

Last year we did a Review of 2018 so lets keep this up and make a small review of this year as well. We started 2019 in Dublin Ireland with the best group of people ever, so we kicked off the new year in style. We have stayed in Europe all year, even though we’ve had the ambission of going on a longer trip. Travelling longer takes some more planning on our behalf, and to be honest, we’re kind of to impulsive to plan a longer trip. Anyways, here’s what we have done during 2019:   JanuaryIreland, Dublin FebruarySpain, Madrid Our next trip was suppose to be Scotland and Edinburgh,…

    Lunch at the Food Project

As we were heading towards Acropolis in Athens, Greece, we decided to stop for a quick bite to eat, and as we passed by the Food Project that seemed like a fitting place for us. Isn’t it just lovely to be able to sit outdoors and have lunch in january? The restaurant is located just about a few minutes walk from the entrance to Acropolis, so it was really the perfect place for us. Having a smaller lunch for us means having a pizza and some tzatziki to share, and a drink of course. I ordered myself one of my favorite drinks, a Espresso Martini, Hanna had a Limoncello Spritz…

How can you afford to travel?

Well yes, thats a question that we get frequently, how do we afford to travel all the time. But before I get into that, let me explain some things first. Both of us have regular jobs, where we earn average money. None of us are wealthy. Except if you count love, travels and drinks. I guess we count as hobby bloggers, not professionals, so all of the funding comes out of our own pockets. We’re bloggers for the fun of it, just the two of us trying to combine our memories and experiences into one online diary, to find an honest and loyal audience. But yes if you want to…

    The poolarea

The poolarea of our hotel in Hersonissos, Crete. I dont have a lot of images from this old trip to Hersonissos on Crete. It was back then when you carried a compact camera with you, and you image of each object. I think I took about fifty images, total, during the entire week we spent there. And I remember thinking that it was a whole lot of images. To compare that to present day, I take about a thousand images on a weekend trip. Yepp, thats a lot of editing. We spent most of our days by the hotel pool, kiddo didnt really swim back then, so it was…

  • Bulgaria - Sunny Beach

    Mixed images from Sunny Beach

Oh yes, this is definatly your typical touristdestination when you are at your younger age. I mean, the beach is great. Its filled with restaurants and bars with happyhour every hour, with lunchtables that turnes into a beerpong tournament. If you leave the beach and walk a bit further into the city, you’ll find a variety of fastfoods, bars with all different kinds of music and your typical touristshops with souvenirs. I think you know the place, it looks kind of like all the rest of the touristplaces along the beaches of the meditoranian. I think we’ve all been there, so lets just say I was happy that we were…

    The view of Istanbul

Once in a while, you find yourself walking around an ancient city of stunning architechture and mosques with intriguing history. As you walk by you’re drawn to the ambience of the teahouses , the smell of spices filles your senses and kind of leaves you hungry for more knowlage of the city. Theres nothing more thrilling than exploring a city like Istanbul, you could reseach forever and a day, and you would still not know the half of it. The spires and domes from the mosques and anchient minarets filles the shylines with an exotic siluette. The light blues, greys and whites of the city blends together perfectly with the…
