The perfect image?
So what is the perfect image? Is it the left one with focus on the drinks served at a beachtavern in Sunny Beach, or the right one taken as a behind the scenes image? Personally I like the left image best, but it all depends on the use of image. The left image I would use on instagram, in a photobook, maybe even as a canvas on my wall. But then again I would post the right one on my instagram stories, its perfect in a blogpost and I would probobly use it in the photobook aswell. How do you manage to take that perfecet picture whilst travelling… What do…

Nynäsgården
So its that time of the year again, all the restaurants around us are serving up their smorgosboard with christmas foods. Last year we visited both Resturang Kroken and Nynäshamns Ångbryggeri, so for this years get together we are trying out Nynäs Gården. Oh yes, we’re trying out another local restaurant. Oh yes, babies changes cloths alot… So first off, we’re going there with Angelica and Lees newborn baby. So we called ahead just to give them heads up that we might need some extra space for the babies stroller. That was just no problem at all, we got a more secluded table with more privacy and spcae just to…

Drinks on a rooftop bar – with a view
Yes, the rooftop thing as become a thing. I tend to google for great rooftops when I am abroad, to get a good drink and a view to die for. These images are taken from the rooftop terrace at the national Museum of Scotland, beautiful right? As we were there late august, the lavendar season was about finished, but I can imagine how stunning this rooftop terrace would have been in full bloom. And yes, you could see the Edinburgh castle from the rooftop aswell, but seeing as it was during the Fringe festivale, there was a lot of non-photogenic stuff infront of the castle, so no pictures of the…

Yupp! The second trip for 2020 is booked, or actually, this is the first. Hm, okey, let me put this into more understandable words, I seem to be blabbering a bit. This is the second trip for 2020 that we have booked, but we are leaving for Edinburgh before we head off to Paris. Does that make sence? We are finally going for the Beltane celebrations, I have been wanting to go for two years now, but the time has never been right. Its a festivale of lights and it marks the beginning of summer. Its gonna be so much fun! Just google Beltane if you want to know more…

The Old Ottoman
Our last day in Istanbul Turkey we were debating where to have dinner, so I started googeling and checking online and I found a recomendation from instagram. The old Ottoman. And boy, you were right! This place is nothing short of amazing. Even though its a full size restaurant the atmosphere feels kind of like you are in someones home, its warm and welcoming. The staff is so kind and friendly, and so helpful with their recomdations of food and wines. We ended up ordering to much food as always, somehow I always tend to think I can eat my own weight and at the Old Ottoman I almost did.…

Yes, I need a staycation before we head off to vacation! Well, its not the matter of needing as off… well, needing. Our plane leaves really early in the morning when we’re heading to Athens in Greece, so theres not way for us to get with public transportation to the Arlanda airport in Stockholm Sweden from where we live. The hassel of beeing a small town girl. Or the purks, if you keep reading… So yeah, we kind off had to book a short staycation, one night at a hotell closer to the airport. Christmasgifts for travellers
Oh yes, gifts is always a hassel to find and I am guessing its even harder for people to find gifts for travellers, if you dont buy a trip. But seeing as trips are quite expensive, what can you buy for a traveller thats a bit less pricey? I have put together a list of things, in a variety of priceranges, that I guess most travellers would appriciate. Naturally you can google these itemns and find several different types, in different quality and price. And I know there’s a redonkulous amount of travelthingies out there, but maybe this can narrow it down abit. So here we go: Anti skimming card…
