Once in a while you step into a hotel that’s just made for relaxing and enjoying life. The hotel we stayed at in Madeira was just like that, carefully decorated with small cozy corners everywhere. Don’t you just love this pinkish purple one?

Magical sunsets
As I have told you through out the entire trip to Madeira, the sunsets on the island are pure magic. But then again, so are the sunrises. I cant even begin to count the number of pictures that I took either of sunsets or sunrises. There were different colours every day, pink, yellow and purple. Gotland
Yes Gotland and especially Visby, has gained a special place in my heart during the last last couple of years. You know I’ve told you that we go to Gotland one week every summer just to be apart of the medieval week. Which is awesome, you should really try it if you havent already. Taxiko SteakHouse
We found Taxiko Steakhouse through trivadvisor and I must say do to it’s really good reviews I was skeptical to say the least. I rarely trust the great reviews and I’m always affaraid to be misslead by a hyped resturant, That was not the case. Taxiko was everything one could wish for, and more. The staff was really friendly and helpfull, the location was great, live music playing all the time and the food… the food was amazing. Okey, lets do one of thease bucketlists for 2019… is it cheating to put Madrid on the bucketlist, even though we already booked it? Madrid – Yes, I’m putting it in there. It’s a safe way to get one point. Rome – Ann has been there, done that, but she wouldnt mind doing it again. Angelica hasent been there so it would be a great city to visit together. New Orleans – that a bit of an overreach, but a bucketlist doesnt have to be all obtainable, does it? Le bon Crubeen
Le bon crubeen was the first resturant we stoped at for lunch whilst awaiting our checkin time at the hotel. It was just one of those places, you know the one, that you almost pass by. It’s like a jungle of pubs and resturants in Dublin, so much to choose from. I’m truly happy that we didn’t miss out on Le bon crubeen, the food was amazing, especially the fish. And the Espresso Martini was great aswell, have you ever tried one?
