    Nynäshamns ångbryggeri

This weekend we visited a local micro brewery for a beertasting and christmas food smorgasbord. Is that how you describe it? Does that even make sence? Hopefully it does. Anyways, we visited Nynäshamns Ångbryggeri, which is the microbrewery located closest to us. And I’m a bit ashamed to admit that this was my first time ever visiting the brewery. I dont know why really, I pass it a few times a month, but I guess it’s never been the right time. I do like beers, or rather stouts and porter, that’s more up my alley. And the microbrewery’s got some really good once when it comes to that, but to…

    Advent wishlist, part 1

Thought of doing a christmas calendar, but what’s the use of that, there’s a new blogpost up on our blog everday anyways. We’re going to divide our wishlist into four parts and share one each advent sunday. So it’s going to be somewhat of a christmas wishlist, predictions, wants and needs in alphabetical order. A as in Auschwitz:One place I’ve always wanted to visit is Auschwitz, just to really see what it was like at the concentration and extermination camps. I want too see what it was like during the war. I want to see history with my own eyes. B for Bucharest. Did you know that there’s a 27…

    Castel Sant’Angelo in Rome

Have you ever been to Rome and visited Castel Sant’ Angelo? It is the cylindrical building that’s towering up behind me in the picture with the amazing bronze statue of Michael the Arch Angel on the top. You might recognize the bulding from the movie Angels and Demons by the author Dan Brown? That particular bulding was on my bucketlist whilst we were in Rome, I wanted to visit it so bad. And as it’s a museum today, with the cutest little cafe and whinery on the top of the bulding, with a view overlooking the entire city, its a perfect place to visit. We had a glas of wine,…

    Monastery of Filerimos

The Monastery of Filerimos is located on a hill above Ialyssos, about 10 km from Rhodes Town, so it’s a bit off. We did the classic touristy thing and took a taxi, whom later picked us up again a few hours later. So the monastery was built in the 15th century by the Knights of Saint John, yes I do visit a lot of places regaring the Knights of Saint John, or Knights Hospitallers as they are also called. The Knights had conquered the island that time. Inside, there was the holy icon of the Virgin Mary that the Knights had probably brought to Rhodes from Jerusalem. But the icon…

My favorite food and drinks in Barcelona

I am going to show you the Barcelona I know and love. We’ve been to the city several times, on a few different occasions. The first time I went there was actually back in 2005 when I was competing in a computer game with a female team, you did not know that right? So I’m gonna share some of my favorite things. Sangria beeing the first. Yes, I do love me some drinks but there’s just something special about the Sangria in Barcelona, the fresh fruits combined with the different liqueurs that the locals use to mix with. Redonkulously good. The it comes to the food in barcelona I’m biased…

    Lightning storm in Sicily

Kind of cool right? I wouldnt say that we had bad weather, but a few raindrops and the occasional thunderclouds came rolling in over the mountains every day during our visit in Sicily. The rain kept pooring for about an hour or so, so it wasnt bad, it gave us a perfect break from the sun everyday. //Ann #travelblogger #travelphotography #sicilien #italiensk #naturephotography

    Photowalk in the forrest

Yes, there’s an image of one of my cats pooping. As I was taking a photowalk in the forrest, some of my cats joined in as usual, but Mr Eddie took the Loot-at-me thing that cats do a bit further. Where he’s sitting, dumping, was were I was standing just seconds before while taking a picture of a beautiful tree. Maybe he was jelous. Anyways. There’s finally some snow. Not much, though, just a small preview of what’s to come Kind of like mother nature is giving us a headsup that it’s time to flee the country and head south towards the sun. Do you enjoy the winter and snow,…

Roman theatre in old town Side

This was one of those “lets just go on a trip an relax”-trips, but did you know that there are ruins of ancient Side scattered all over the old town? The theatre was built in the middle of the 2nd century AD, on the site of an earlier, Hellenistic, theater. It represents the Roman type of theaters, because it was built on the foundation that was supported by the barrel vaults. But you can clearly see the influence of Greek architecture. Can you imagine, in the late Roman Empire times, when the forms of entertainment was the gladiatorial combats and shows with wild animals as a big orchestra was playing.…

    Marbella

On location photoshoot for with a local modellingagency, for a spanish magazine. Visiting Marbella in Spain is only one of the trips that I have done over the years to do photoshoots, this one was to do a photoshoot with six different models, two male and four female. I had actually never had that many models in one shoot before, it was a lot of hard work. And sunburn. As you see on the image above I was not wearing a hat and after an entire day of shooting at the beach I was totally burned at the scalp.   The scenery was totally beautiful, as you can see,…
