Birthday girls

Finally in paradise
Talk about beeing scatterbrained?!This afternoon we were at my moms place to have a “swedish fika”, when Ann sends me a text saying that in twelve hours we’ll be in Sicily. Prague
So yes, a weekend in Prague / Czech Republic is a trip most people dream of, but once again this was not on my bucketlist. The city of beers and bridges. We’ll tell you bout the beers later. The most famous bridge in Prague is called Charles bridge, it’s 621 meter long, 10 meter wide. Angelicas fiance was pushing us to walk across the bridge the entire weekend, but there were people everywhere. The bridge was filled with local musicians, streetartists, the usuall turist traps and of course tourists. Lots and lots of tourists. If you want to see the Charles bridge, go early in the morning to avoid all…

Edinburgh
Going to Edinburgh was not on my bucketlist, but seeing as impulsecontroll’s not my strong suit, I booked a trip for me and my husband last year. And since that trip I simply cant wait to go back. It was just one of those places where you fit right in. The atmosphere, the people, the architecture and the history. Oh the history. Yes, I’m somewhat of a geek when it comes to the Scottish history, dont get me started. Edinburgh gave me a lesson in Gin. I had no idea that there were so many different kinds of Gin. Have you ever had sloe gin? It’s redonkulously tasty, and quite…

Yes, we just booked a trip to Dublin for New Years. I’ve never been to Dublin before, and I’ve never actually wanted to go. Great Britain has never really appealed to me, but since my trip to Scotland a while back I’ve started to warm up to the idea. So Dublin it is. Eagerly awaitingAnn Oh, and hey, welcome to our new blog. The images are of the hotel we will be staying at, check out their website for more information and images, http://maplehotel.com/
